What is the closing date for registrations?

If I am already a Raytheon supplier do I still need to register?

Yes. During this initial approach to market we will be focussing on potential suppliers who have registered via the supplier portal.

What are the conditions of participation?

Registration on the portal and participation in this supplier engagement process is at your own expense. Raytheon Australia will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by you in registering as a potential supplier or through your participation in this process.

To the extent permitted by law, no binding contract (including a process contract) or other understanding (including any form of contractual, quasi-contractual or restitutionary rights, or rights based upon similar legal or equitable grounds) will exist between Raytheon Australia and a potential supplier unless and until a contract is signed by Raytheon Australia and the successful User (or organisation they represent).

By registering your details on the portal you agree:

a.    to Raytheon’s use of your information for the purposes of identifying potential suppliers, including, use of your information for the industry showcases, detailed assessment and proposal solicitation, and supplier selection;

b.    that Raytheon may disclose your information to the Commonwealth of Australia and third parties (including but not limited to the Raytheon’s related bodies corporate and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace), for the benefit of the Land 19 Phase 7B project;

c.     that Raytheon may: (i) require you to provide additional information; (ii) amend, change or terminate the process for supplier engagement, including changing the potential opportunities and timings for activities; and (iii) request, attend or conduct any site visits, or request your participation in meetings or workshops.

How will I find out if I will be invited to the industry showcase and other stages in the process?

Once you have registered via the supplier portal, Raytheon Australia will contact you directly, through the point of contact nominated with your registration, to provide you with a status of your progress through the process. It is, therefore, important that you keep your contact details up to date to ensure that you receive all communications in a timely manner.

When and where will the showcase events be held?

The showcase events are expected to be commence in November 2017. There will be events held in every State and Territory in Australia.

If I am successful in being awarded a work package for the project when would work potentially start on the project?

The Government’s second pass approval is expected in the first half of 2019, with the prime contract awarded shortly thereafter. Supplier contracts will be awarded subsequent to the award of the prime contract.

Are there any eligibility requirements to being considered?

The eligibility criteria for participation are:

•       Potential suppliers must be a registered business in Australia or New Zealand, with genuine capabilities within Australia and/or New Zealand to support the opportunities identified for LAND 19 Phase 7B;

•       Potential suppliers who are a Relevant Employers under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth) must be compliant with the requirements of that Act; and

•       Potential suppliers must not be in violation of any anti-corruption or anti-bribery law or regulation, or be listed on any excluded or denied party list of any agency of the Australian or U.S Government, or its export privileges have been denied, suspended or revoked by the Australian or U.S Government, or is subject to a UN embargo or UN sanction.
